colourstart patch tests - ok for eyelash tinting?

A salon near me uses colourstart patch tests as there eyelash tinting test -does anyone know if this is ok?

They should do a patch test with the actual eye tint product they will use on you, as each company's products differ, even shades can differ so what ever the shade the client will be having should be tested on them if done correctly.
