The latest figures reveal the customer demand for green products continues to grow. According to the Organic Market Report published recently by the Soil Association, the popularity of organic health and beauty products increased rapidly with sales rising by a third to £36m.

The new report is positive despite the toughest economic climate for 20 years. It indicated clear signs of increasing confidence among consumers. Based on evidence from the early months of this year, the Soil Association predicts a modest market expansion of between 2% to 5% in 2010.
