Hi,

I currently employ an apprentice who is due to qualify later this year. I have started talking to her about employing her full time. At present, her working conditions are set by the college in terms of hours worked, holidays, etc. but I am aware that if I take her on full or part time that I will have to have a contract of employment in place.

I have never employed someone before and so this is completely alien to me. Does anyone have any advice or alternatively does anyone have a template or copy of a contract of employment that I could use to set mine up?

Many thanks to anyone who can help

your contract of employment doesn't have to be a written one it can be verble contact me i worked soley in this field for 5 years prior to therapy i can go through everything with you including payroll setup and what the tax office expect.

are you sure you don't need a written contract? i thought it mandatory that all employees have one.
i certainly wouldn't take on anyone without a written contract
