Hey guys (or girlies )

I was just wondering if there's anything that lawfully makes you a cosmetologist, or if anyone with qualifications in the health and beauty industry can legally call them self such?

In Canada, a licensed Cosmotologist is someone who took schooling that included hair, nails and skin. In BC, they stopped that license about 10 year ago and split the license up.

i'm assuming or under the impression you are in an apprenticeship with a salon >?? if not ..as you live in the UK you need to be 18 yrs old and go to college to train and gain NVQ's or diplomas ... cosmetologists is just a fancy name in the hair & beauty Industry .here is a few websites you can look at to give you an idea hope this helps u hun WikiAnswers - How long do you need to go to school to become a cosmetologist
