At the salon I work at, I pay 105/wk for full time and part-time employees pay 25/day, up to 3 days. Keep in mind, this is US dollars, don't know the conversion or how reasonable that is in the UK. We provide all our own supplies, but she provides coffee/water, the use of the receptionist (we tip her though), bathroom use (including all bathroom supplies) and use of the washer/dryer (though we provide our own soap). I do not have a seperate room, just a corner. The pedicure chair is in the spa area of the salon and I pay 30% of pedicure charge to use the chair. If we use the massage roomor do makeup it is also 30%. I probably pay on the high side of things, particularly for my small town (thinking of buying a house with a salon in it, actually, to save). Area definitely dictates rental prices, usually. Also, how much walk-in traffic the salon gets and how nice the salon is, to be honest.
