Crazy Colour in my hair, tips please

Hi can anyone tell me if going swimming will affect faded crazy colour at all? Change it's colour or make it permanent?

Also does using straighteners or curling irons cause it to stay in hair longer?

heat will fade crazy colours & going swimming may fade ur hair making it a different shade,
