had a search through & can't find any advice on how to cut the canes into slices thin enough, what in your opinion is the best way to slice them thin?

I've been making canes for a while with fimo (haven't used them for nails) but in order to get them thin enough, I bought a tool from the US, called a 'tissue scalpel' / tissue blade, so much sharper than the little blades you get.

It's what they use in autopsies etc, so gets them very thin :D

with the balde that mum recommended I usually warm them in my hands or rest them under a lamp once the client has chose them, it makes them a little easer to cut.

I use a razor blade similar to the one Mum posted links for ( my husband buys them in the hundreds from Snap On lol ). I tend to heat my canes by putting them under my leg while I do my prep and then slicing them :)
