Im a 19 year old (male) and I plan to cut my hair for the first time
All my life I've grown my hair due to religious reasons but now I feel it's time to move on,
I've cut my hair twice before when I've had braids, I must admit I didn't get it professionally cut, I done it myself with household scissors :o my hair at the moment comes down to my chest roughly.
I just wanted to know if I had it cut by a friend who has been a barber for nearly 6months now, what would be the best way to do it without it coming out looking like a wig :/?, I have indian hair but it is naturally thick and wavy. my friend is experienced at cutting hair but never has he cut hair in the circumstance as mine
The style I was preferably looking at was just a simple haircut (small fade at the bottom and long on the top, nothing too overwhelming or difficult.
