Hi

Ive just got a load of diamontees but not yet attempted to put them on yet. Is it possible to put them on before I put the acrylic on?

pinky

i wouldn't as they are likely to go dull....best bet is to apply them after.

Yes i agree. Put them on after and try not to use too much glue/adhesive as this will look a bit messy and your diamontee will slide about a bit before it sets so it might not end up in the place you intended it to. Good luck with them though x

Yep nearly all colour diamontes will dull, but AB (Aurora Borealis) will still glimmer nearly as much as above the acrylic. If you use a high shine t/coat that will help too. I use them under and usually put a little dot of acrylic in the area I want it and then place the stone leaving it for about 30 secs before applying the rest of the acrylic to allow it to settle and stay in place.

Hope that helps.

Ive just tried to apply one to the top and it ended up stuck on me!

Do you use tweezers?
Could you place it in the acrylic before its dry?

i usually apply them after..with either top coat or a gel coating...i use an orange stick and dab a little clear polish on it and then use that end to help pick up the diamonte that way it doesnt stick to you.

i wouldnt place it on the acrylic before its dry as you still need to finish off the nails? therefore it wont work
