Hi

Please can someone explain the difference between a rebalance and an infill.

Thanks

with a re balance your creating a new smile line and correcting the apex an infill is where you fill the gap where your product has grown up with the natural nail.

A rebalance can be done without redoing the white. When you re-do the white as well, this is known as a French Rebalance.

A normal rebalance keeps the whole enhancement properly structured.

If you just filled the gap at each maintenance appointment you would loose the balance/structure and eventually end up with weak nails that would crack easily and break.

I never fill... ever. Every maintenance appointment is a rebalance with me. I always maintain the structure of the whole enhancement.

For us it's the terminology, rebalancing is a professional term, infill is a consumer recognised term that they know to ask for when booking an appointment. Education about the structure and product knowledge goes a long way toward earning life time loyalty from a client.

It doesn't take long for a client start asking about a rebalance when booking, when they call some where else to book a rebalance and the person on the other end doesn't know what it is, they usually come back for a more professional service, even if it is a little more expensive.

just like to add i always do a re balance never just fill !!!
