hi everyone,

just a question, in the passed i used to work with ibd but i have recently changed brands to oddessey nail systems and love it.
when i changed over the girl mensioned thad ibd has not enough wattage to cure anything else then ibd.
luckely i had an old uv light of36 watt and am using this one for now, but i realy loved my ibd 3000 for two hands.
Ibd clames that beceause of the reflecter system, they cure more evenly and better, perhaps they have to cure longer? i really don't know

can anyone explane how you can cure better with lower wattage.

and would i be able to use my ibd 3000jet for the other brand.

hi i used so many diff gels and most lamps each bulb are 9w with 4 bulbs its 36 watt, so most gels need 2 bulbs so a 4 bulbs lamp usually fine, b4 you buy
new lamp and spend a lot , do a test first.
if you odyssey gels use the ibd lamp see if it sets.
most cosmetic houses offer transfer courses so make sure you know how apply the gel in each type of diff house. cos if the application is wrong then it wont set no matter what lamp you use.

Thank You Thats Very Helpful

Wattage has nothing to do with UV output just like gasoline doesn't determine how fast you can drive.

Some 9w lamps give off more UV light than 36w lamps! Wattage is the power consumption in order to operate the bulb/lamp. UV output is based on bulbs, their placement and the design of the lamp.

Only ever use the lamps that your manufacturer recommends!

HTHs!
