Sammi82, please don't have a huff. You are in fact partially correct in that if a person is sacked in their first year for being pregnant, or for being a different race they can bring a claim.
You portrayed it as "anyone can bring a claim" which is why I said it was incorrect.

Unless the OP has an extremely robust case for discrimination, under a year employed wont get far at tribuneral.
 
I'm not having a huff, I'm getting tired of people getting shirty when I've given advice that is relevant.

If you read, I have stated SOME cases and from what the OP said, there may be an issue of race.

You have told me I'm incorrect and then said I'm partially correct

I won't be posting any further in this thread as I have posted the advice I needed to and feel its unfair to clog someone's relevant thread with petty squabbles
