Hi everyone

I keep getting conflicting answers to this question.

A couple of years ago a friend did the intimate waxing course and I was a model for her. I obviously paid close attention to the training and afterwards I also practised on my friend.
I have been waxing friends and family for yonks now and feel completely confident in doing it. My question is, do I need a seperate certifcate or does my normal NVQ Level 2 and 3 certificates cover me to do intimate waxing on outside clients.

Thanks

Heather

did you do waxing in your nvq??

as long as your nvq included waxing you can do any waxing you like can't you..

your worried why not contact your insurance company as long as your insured and your confident all's good I would think.

I believe you need a certificate to say you are 'qualified' to do intimate waxing.

I agree with the above post, contact your insurance. You could also pm Kim Lawless, as she teaches waxing and will know what's what.

Hi Guys

Thanks for your replies, I qualified in waxing during NVQ Level 2 of my qualifications, just didnt know if it covered intimate waxing.
Good point about insurance company, will contact then in the morning. Thanks again
Heather

Of course you did waxing on your NVQ courses so no you are covered for all waxing but they run short courses to teach you how if you dont know - this is defo true as we train our girls in it after they have completed their normal NVQ

No...you don't need a seperate qualification to do Intimate Waxing but it makes sense to get good training xxx
