Being off with a bad back has got me thinking about how to contact clients while I'm at home ill. Obviously I don't want the hassle of driving in to work, calling clients up to cancel and then driving back home again.
I work in my little salon alone and currently use the Google calendar to do my appointments which syncs with my tablet, phone, laptop etc, but other than my client record cards I don't have contact details for clients on there.
How do those in a similar situation go about this? Do you add them as contacts so easily have their phone number at hand to call in a situation like I am in? Or is where salon software comes in?
I don't particularly want to pay out as I'm a one-man band, nor do I want online booking.
