Was just wondering how many of you use electric nail files, what you think of them, and if you do use them, which ones you use? Thanks xx

nope i am a file girl here although i am not oposed to e files as long as the person using them is trained. xxxxx

I use one and I'm very happy with it. The key is proper training, and lots and lots of practice. My nail trainer came in very handing for my teething time with my skill with my efile.

nope.. but if and when i perfect my hand filing i may look into some training. not a huge priority at the moment but i would like to know how to use one eventually then decide for myself what i like to use best.

I'm trained to use one and do use one but not very often. I remove glitters this way if the client is changing colours but I rarely go over the nail bed area as I prefer the control of a hand file. I don't even bother plugging it in if I'm doing a forever french rebalance.

I didn't take an interest in one until I was up to speed with my hand filing. Its good to keep up with the hand filing first rather than rely on the efile all the time. If I were to have a client that was really put off by the efile it wouldn't be a problem I'd just hand file. xxx

Have to agree with louiser.

Im trained to use an e-file but have very rarely used it, only did so when my wrist was playing up and was in plaster.

Melmars if you do a search on e-files you will find loads of threads about them, it will answer all your worries, fears and more. HTH

I use an efile since a few months, but only to remove the acrylic when doing a rebalance. I agree with Louiser too. I am comfy doing it like this, it saves a lot of time. And i like that you can do fun art things like carving out designs. :green:
