Sunday night saw the nail industry shine very brightly at the first ever Scratch Star Awards held at Cafe de Paris in London Town. The best of the best turned up to schmooze their way through a night coloured in glamour to recognise the industry's heroes.
It's been a busy few months in preparation. Nominations for the prestigious awards opened in October, judging began in January, practical judging took place over two days in February and mystery shoppers were sent on their merry judging ways in April. The results were finalised and Sunday night was the culmination of half a year's work in which Scratch Magazine determined to unearth the industry's finest.
The big winners of the night were Sweet Squared who went home with three awards including Industry Innovator and Best Education and Training. Salon Geek would like to congratulate all the winners on their success and raise a glass to another spectacular year for the industry.
