just cant get free edge to cover ahhhh!!!!!

am using creative flawless pink and perfect pink and white.
Just feel need more camo PLEASE ........... HELP!!!!!!:!:

Are you mixing the perfect pink into the flawless pink? That does make the flawless a bit more translucent. Try the flawless by itself, or use a bit less of the clear pink when you mix it.

Have you tried the new opaque pinks--cool, neutral, and warm? Those cover *great*, and they look really pretty on their own.

Flawless pink is NOT meant to be used on its own. It is considered a base powder for adding your own custom blended powders to match your own nail bed colour. You will not like flawess on its own.

Use the pre mixed warm, neutral or cool pinks (available i the UK soon) OR

Try this. Use 20 small scoops flawless
Add: 5 small scoops of perfect white
1/2 small scoop of Terra Cotta
1 small scoop of Melting Pot

I hadn't heard that before I started using Flawless; it's a peachy pink, so I never used it on a cool-toned client, but I had a few warm toned ones that it looked pretty good on. I prefer to mix it with pink and intense pink though, for a base:)

I don't know if you have done a custom colour blending class iwth CND, but if you had, you would have learned that flawless is a base mix that you can make cool or warm depending on the colours you choose for custom blending.

The mix I have given is for a warm skin tone. for a cool tone use

20 small scoops of Flawless
5 small scoops of perfect colour white
1/2 small scoop of Quartz
1 small scoop of melting pot

Yup, I've taken a few CB classes with CND. I just like to experiment. :)

Gigi,
Has CND discontinued Flawless in Europe also? As soon as I found out about it I purchased some extra to last me a while so I would not have to change my recipes but I have been experimenting with the new opaques they have come out with and while I like them I am not ready to give up on what has worked so well for me. Old habits die hard and I HATE it when they discontinue something I love but all things change and improve. It's just hard sometimes. I actually had a new client today who was a referral and she has worn liquid and powder for years but no one had ever used a custom blend for her until I did today. If I say so myself; they looked great and she loved her new enhancements. I only regret I did not have my camera handy to get some photos. It never gets old to know you really hit the mark and truly pleased a client with your work.

I adore custom blending and the whole sort of mystique of the mixing etc and that is probably because I am an artist (as you obviously are) and I like control of the outcome. (yes yes, I can hear you all saying, OF course she does!!)

Many just want to buy everything premixed and not have to think about the 'doing' of it and don't understand it or the appeal of it.

I suppose it is like those who hand paint or airbrush nail art and those who just prefer to buy a decal that is already done for them.

In any case, Flawless will become discontinued in all countries eventually.

I will still continue to custom blend when I feel the need, with the new colours because for me they will not suit everyone and I will have to tweak and control them!!
