Hi it can happen more at this time of year too, from dehydration. Bet it's not burnt just a thin layer of skin has come away. Also check she is not using any anti ageing creams around her eye area. These tend to thin the skin slightly too. I use dermalogicas barrier repair over the areas 1st at this time of year.
