Facebook auctions and comps

Ive noticed on some facebook pages, that some people are still doing both of these. Which has now confused me as i would love too, but with the guidelines cant see how little me can.
Does anyone know a way?

Does anyone know a way?

You can run auctions from your page but you can't run a competition just from your page. You can talk about it on your page, but to enter they have to email you the answer for instance or go to your blog if you have one.
