WOULD THIS BE SOMETHING MANY OF YOU WOULD GO FOR

HOLISTIC/AROMATHERAPY/HOMEMADE PRODUCTS TO GIVE FACIALS /HAND/LEG MASSAGE WITH:hug:

I mix all my own massage oils and creams - then I know exactly whats in them and I mix them depending on the client. I also make my own shower gels and body lotions for myself and friends.

I make my own massage creams/oils, but I wouldn't be so keen on homemade facial products unless I was after a relaxing or aromatherapy type facial. Personally I prefer products on my face that have been clinically tested to give results.

I ditto what Martin says! I would much prefer professional products, the active ingredients are what we want to work and give us results.

Where you talking only about the massage part of the treatment??

hi, actually i meant, cleansers, toners, moisturisere etc, x

If you're making your own products to use or retail, is there any set of rules etc you have to abide by? I was thinking re labelling issues, ingredients listings, health & safety issues, COSHH sheets...do you have to declare you're making your own products to the council for insurance/licensing purposes etc? It's something I'd love to be able to do, but these sorts of questions have always put me off looking seriously into it. (Sorry to hijack thread!)
