hi i saw some nails that had feathers inlayed i was just wondering how you do it ..would you just put a thin layer of acrylic stick the feather on trim it and cap in clear or just stick the feather on and cap in clear? thankyou :) im fairly new to nails lol xx

use a little bit of adhesive to hold it in place and then overlay it with clear acrylic.

Hi.
I used the adhesive method with UV Gel.

With L&P, I applied a thin layer first and while still wet, lay a feather over it (pressing the feather 'into' the L&P a little bit) and then immediately applied more L&P over that.

I don't trim the feathers. I laid the pointy end down first, aiming at the eponychium. After the L&P was applied, I then trimmed any strays sticking out. Filed... top-glossed and voila.

Sounds interesting where have u seen them? xx
