Filling the nail PopIts

Got my Popits today, I am so exited cant wait to try them out. The only thing I dont understand is the side skirt of the popits. I know that I have to cut the eponychium end off but I dont understand these site skirts do I have to fill these with acrylic or will they fill by them selfs when I pop on the Popits?

They will fill themselves when the popit is placed onto the nail, just when you place your product in the popit just gently pull it over the the side just to get a thin layer and the rest will move into place once its placed.
