finding a new job?

Hi everyone,

How does everyone go about finding a new job within a salon? any good websites or agencies that any1 knows of?

I generally send my cv to salons within the distance i am wanting to travel but just wondered what other options there are

hi helen
i think a good idea for finding salon work would be to ring all the salons u would be interested in and offer ur services for holiday relief or to cover sick leave. this way u get ur face and talents known and will be more likley to be offered a full time oposition as soon as one comes up. just make sure u are familiar with the nail systems being used in the salons u are interested in.

I think it is a good idea to go round the salons with a copy of your portfolio. Obviously you will get a more positive response at off peak times and days.
