hi all

i am having my first assesment on wed night on gel on tips,i was wondering if there any tips or advice you can give me? will i be able to blend my tips pre assesment as its my mam im taking? im a bit nervous lol

hmm tricky one.. .. i would prob fail someone for pre blending before an assessment as it all has to be completed within a commercially acceptable timescale - 2 hours level 2 and 90 mins level 3. - dont be nervous thou.. it only cos its the first one.. you'll be fine.
 
An assessment is to show what your abilities are from what you have learnt so far. Don't go into it thinking its an assessment try and think of it as another day learning. Nerves are quite natural & if you try and relax and go through each step as methodically as you can you will be fine :) I would be very surprised if any tutor etc would allow any work to the clients hands previously. It wouldn't happen in a salon environment, the same for an assessment. Good luck it will all go into place once you have set up and started. A good tip when you do set up, place the tools and products in such a way, you will know what order to do things... This always helps :) let us know how you got on
