Hi all I have just finished my first NNO on my client who was wearing Bio Sculpture, I removed these and did the Brisa it took me about 3 1/2 hours, is this removal process hard just I found it difficult to soak off?

Please can you comment on my pictures I have uploaded them in my profile.

I would really appreciate any comments where I can improve.

Thanks

When i do a gel colour overlay on a natural nail i do a base first....

I do my bonding layer...cure

Thin layer clear...cure

2nd thin layer (zone 2 and 3 only) cure

Wipe and buff smooth...final shaping...remove dust and clean

Then thin layer color....cure

2nd layer thin colour (if needed) cure

Gloss...cure

wipe and done.

With a nice active length nail like the ones in your picture you don't have to build a apex unless the nail would look nicer with one or the client is very heavy on her nails...I find doing a base first and then wiping and buffing to shape gives a lovely smooth surface for your colour gel.

It might take a little longer this way but i find the results are very much worth it...

Whenever i have not wiped and buffed smooth and just gone right in with the colour gel..i have been disappointed in the finish.

I think taking that little extra time to make your surface perfect prior to applying colour gel is what makes all the difference....there are a couple of pics in my profile album of colour gel NNO if you would like to take a look.

Here is one... Salon Geek
