Like I've said before I'm at college and currently trying to complete all my assessments including my nail art. I've done majority of them and just have flatstones, polish secures, transfers and foiling to complete.

No I'm ok with the transfers and foiling, even if I can't get the hanging of foiling on recently polished nails however long I've waited. So I'm all good with those.

I'm just wondering what the difference is between flatstones and polish secures? Obviously flatstones are flat, but what can be classed as a polish secure?

I've had a search on the forum and couldn't find anything about polish secures, unless I'm being blind as usual. Please help!

Anything ytou can attach to the nail with polish,
so, dryed flowers , spangles, anything like that.
as for foil I found the FX adhesive was good :)

I've got dried flowers, will this be counted as a polish secure? And then obviously I use my flat stones and get passed off on those too?

Will have a look at the FX adhesive, I'm not too sure what I've got. How long do nails have to be dry before applying the adhesive and foil?

Thanks for the help yet again! :)

Dubble check with your teacher , but im pritty sure its anything you can attach to the nail with polish hehe,
you prob have lots of other things to, like the hollow stars and hearts?
and tiny bead ball things ,
hears some more : Nail Art Shapes

Brilliant, thank you. Will have a look and hopefully can have a little play once the tutor has told me. Everyone seems to be getting signed off on things that we didn't think they were. Rhinestones the other day and now I'm dreading the foiling.

Feeling like a right newbie here, but I guess we all have to start somewhere.

Don't dread foil Hun we all know its very temperamental , I'm sure your teacher will know that to, 2 tips I found with foil was that the ones that are not metallic are normally more successful!
And the lighter color of the polish the eraser I found it,

Ooh, thanks for the tips I will definitely give them a go. I've got a black lace and silver metallic from my college kit so will have a play around before I do my assessment.
