Few people mentioned they get work from local directories and it does work as directories tend to have high ranking with google. Below is a small list of the most important ones (in my opinion). I may have missed a few but these will keep you busy. Takes some time but is worth it!

Have fun guys, will be a couple of hours worth would of thought
Make sure to add your keywords in the right sections on each of them where possible, will give very valuable SEO links for your site/ad.

Also a bonus is if you have a professional website (not a free web builder) these help massively with your google uk ranking if you enter your business address, contact details and website link. It gives you a high authority back link most of the time. Not always but either way it helps. It shows google your a real business and are here, there and everywhere.
