Hi I have a problem when i do french gel, after prep and tipping, i apply first coat pink gel and cure 4 finger 4 fingers then 2 thumbs, but when i do white gel, i gel 2 fingers cure and do 2 fingers on other hand, but when i take out its like the gel has moved and kind of 'bled', and ideas! it looks perfect before it goes under the lamp!

Sometimes the sticky inhibition layer underneath the white gel makes the white spread out, especially if you are working too thick with the white gel.

Try wiping off the inhibition layer on the area where you are going to apply your white gel and then apply your white. Think you'll find this cures the problem. OR ....

Another thing you can try is a 10 second 'flash cure' to set the white and then move on until all have been flash cured and then do your 2 minute cure on all when you are finished. This method can work for you too. OR .....

You can do 2 thin coats of white instead of one thick one.

I think I'll try wiping the inhibition layer from the tip before applying the white next time. I'm fine with other peoples' nails but I always find I do the white too thickly when I'm using my 'wrong hand' on myself. I've just done french shellac on myself and the white ran... thanks for the advice Geeg x
