Well, i did my 1st ever pink and white gel overlays today, i was pleased with results for 1st time, but took me 2 hrs - can anyone tell me if this is a ridiculous time lol, and how long i am aiming for to get to professional standards? And what people usually charge for this too (i will not be charging but just curious). Feel free to look in my album at my pics of before and after - thank u

Firstly can I just say your work is lovely and I'd be happy to pay for them..... so start charging!!!

I think 2 hours is reasonable for a new nail tech... you obviously took your time and went through all your steps and the result is great.

I'd hate to show you a pic of my first sets

Well done ... you'll get faster with experience, but it's not something you need to worry about. I take about 45 to 50 mins to do overlays and charge €50.

HTH
