Has this happened to any other geeks?

Everytime I find a new main brush to use, I use my old one as a smile line cleaner, but after a while it always goes really soft and sticky... like it's just soaked with gel. I can't even use it to apply gel anymore once this happens.
When I try to apply gel with it, the brush just bends back and stays that way...

I tried cleaning it with alcohol, but no luck! Is there any way I can fix this, or have I ruined my brush for good?

Hi, when you clean your smile lines, what are you using? If acetone, this may be causing the brush to become soft. I'm under the impression that gel (synthetic haired) brushes should be kept away from acetone.

I'm not sure if the brush can be saved. Good luck! I hate losing a good brush!

Nope I never use acetone. I just use the sanitizer for the gel.

I actually found a brush cleaner made specifically for gel brushes, so Im gonna see if it works!
