Hi

I seem to have the same problems everytime and wondered if someone could point out if Im missing something obvious.

When I do either a new set or infils they look fine until they start to grow out, I then end up with an 'edge' at the bottom (between the end of the gel and the finger) which sometimes seems to have a bit of an upward slope.

Ive tried not using as much at the bottom, leaving more of a gap between the base of the nail and where the gel starts etc but cant seem to solve it...

you need to make sure you file it flush with the nail surface after you apply it then it will grow out seamlessly without the ledge.

You really do need to leave that tiny free margin of nail so that your product can meld into the natural nail and be completely integrated with it. If you fail to do this, then you will find it pretty impossible to finish the nail so that the product is completely integrated.

Care must also be taken when applying the final Finishing Gloss, that you do not build up yet another ledge of product against the eponychium. Use the 'push pull' technique and this can be done very easily.

Hi
I do leave a margin between the nail and the start of the gel and as far as I can feel when Im doing it the gel is flush

Yes you do need to leave a margin between the nail and the enhancement:)
