Gel extensions and Pro Impressions well less tips - advice please

Still trying to get to grips with extensions :-(

Went for these tips on recommendation as minimal blending. Do I need to place these tips a little further up the nail bed as opposed to free edge as they are coming away at side walls and feel quite weak. Especially for ladies wanting longer nails. Snapping off after a few days boo hoo. Look great when I do them but don't last. I am doing all the prep, have a good glue (nsi poly bond). Are these tips just too flimsy? Anyone using them have any advice.

The tips don't add any strength they are just a platform to add product. If they're snapping it's not due to the tips but the structure of the enhancement X
