Gel is oozing out, any advice?

Hi first post here! I use calgel at my work, and I love the stuff. Recently I just opened a new jar(?) of the clear gel, but for some reasons this one keeps oozing... I'll close the lid and come back the next day and I'll find it sitting in a puddle of gel. Yesterday I used it and twisted the lid back on and looked at it 5 minutes later and saw gel oozing out from the side of the lid! I can't afford to lose gel this quickly... what should I do?

hi, i have had this prob with calgel too, putting it in a bigger pot doesnt make much differance as i have had pots half full that spill out like this, is it such a waste. Calgel did say to make sure the white cover that seals the gel is used as well as the normal lid ?

doesnt seem to happen with the le chat that i use ?

try cleaning the lid really thoroughly as well as the neck of the jar, it probably has gel all in the thread now and thats whats continuing to ooze.
