Hi,

Can any- one help.

I have a problem with my gel nails they peel off after a few days. I don't think it's my prep as my L&P nails stay on for weeks without any lifting.I use Creative Brisa gel.

Thanks
Carol:cry:

Hiya, could be a few things -

a. Are you using the primer correctly?

b. Is your gel too thick?

c. Do the bulbs in your lamp need replacing?

Hope this helps

I use the primer just like a nail polish.
My lamp is new
I don't think my gel is too thick
and I have done the Brisa course

Sounds like you are getting serious undercure which is usually a result of not using the Brisa lamp. The only times I have had probs with Brisa was when I tried to use my old Daylight lamp ... and when the bulbs needed changing, both of which caused undercure. Other than that it is a dream to use.

GOSH ITS CERTAINLY BRISA 'PROBLEM WEEK'

  • Are you prepping correctly?
  • is the nail 'dry' b4 application?
  • are you doing one hand at a time
  • are you scrubbing in the first layer?
  • are you building correctly
  • are you wiping in between layers? (and not filing after?)

Are you using primer, or liquid bond? You should be using liquid bond sparingly, not like nail polish. One dip into the bottle is enough to do about 3 nails.
Are you applying a bonder layer a gel, worked into the nail plate?
Are you capping the edges?

Are you on any medication?
Have you tried nail fresh and scrub fresh in your prep ?

Hi
What do you mean when you say scrubbing in the first layer? I just paint it on North to south and cap the ends.
