Hi all - I haven't done gels on my nails in a long time but fancied it as I have longer to perfect than with L&P!!!

I applied a tip and then a clear overlay and then painted french. It's going to be easier for me to do rebalances on myself being one colour as I'm quite slow on myself!!

Anyway, I'm quite pleased with them but as always I'm now noticing imperfections. Some of the nails look a bit flared but it's only from certain angles.

Any comments or suggestions apprecitated!! (I use OPI MicroBond Gel)

This is before I painted them

Does you system have a Paint on White? I do gels too and when I do a French on myself I use the POW. It's really easy to file off and it goes on just like polish. Then you don't have to worry about taking it off when you do everyone elses nails. And it stays nice and shiney. I use Akzentz and really love their stuff.

I have a gentle white sculpting gel, other than that I think OPI make a Luminous White that you apply with a brush (the others you squeeze straight from the tube) but I've never been shown how to use it properly x

they look lovely.what base coat did you use as i really like the look of it.thanks

do u mean the purpley colour? it's OPI's Altar Ego, it's really popular for french xx
