Hey there...

New to the site, and was wondering if I could get some advice. I am looking to add gel nails to my menu but I am not sure which system works the best. If I can get some opinions on gel systems that work well and ones that don't that would be great! I have worked with Calgel, but I find it dosen't bond well and lifting occurs days after an application. I also live in Canada, so I need something that can be bought here or online! Any quick tips would be awesome too!

Thanks!

hi there
you need to try young nails gel they have a hard based gel for over tips and sculpting and also a soft soak off gel check them out they have training all obver the world
goodluck

I use Creative Brisa gel. It is a buff off gel and I find it excellent. It is suitable for NNO, over tips or sculpting and very strong. They have coverage gels, colours and shimmers. HTH

As a Calgel user along with quite a few others on the site i have to comment that the lifting is likely due to the application or aftercare and not the product.
It takes a while to get used to but once applied and looked after correctly it does not lift. Its a great product.
I would say it isn't for everyone because you do have to be more mindful of the aftercare especially glove wearing because it is a porous gel.It is also not a brilliant gel if people want long talons or white tips,in which case a hard file off gel is better.

I use LCN which i love, they have a range of self leveling gels or sculpture gels ( which i prefer). they have a great line of colours and glitters which are fab you can buy online aswell at BEAUTY CONCEPTS - Beauty Concepts International
