Gel over L&P - Is this right?

Hi guys

I was at a childs party today and I was talking to one of the fellow Mum's and the discussion was about her nails. She had a set of acrylics two to three weeks ago in Dublin, she went somewhere in Essex for her refills, but the Man put gel over her acrylics. You can actually see where the acrylic has lifted under the gel. Is this right? can you put gel over a set of acrylics? the lady said she was going back to him because she isn't at all happy with the lines underneath. I told her to have them soaked off and reapplied.

yes it is ok to put gel over acrylic l/p.
however, whatever product you use you must be sure to remove all lifting to avoid fill lines and to prevent any bacteria being trapped beneath the lifted portions.
