Can I do a gel overlay straight onto a short natural nail? For someone who has shorter nails would this be better than applying a gel polish? I'm worried if I can't cap the edge that they won't last her very long! So thought the nsi gels would be better?

Am I right? X

You don't necessarily need to put a gel overlay on first unless your client needs it. As for sealing the free edge, check out Fingernailfixer on YouTube, she has a video called "Tips for polishing short or bitten nails". It goes over how to seal the edge on a short nail.

But won't doing a gel overlay be better then a gel polish as then it won't chip an you don't seal the edges with nsi gel do you? X

You do still have to seal the edge with NSI balance gel. Think your getting mixed up with Polish Pro, which you dont need to seal.
