Gel polish base coats

Hi,

I have been using cuccio veneer for the last year over acrylic extensions.
I'm thinking of going with gelish as they have some lovely colours!
Question is do I need to use a base coat over the acrylic extensions before the colour coats?
Also is it compatible with cuccio universal uv/led topcoat?

When applying colour over L&P you don't need a base coat, just leave your finish filing at the 240 stage so it's not completely smooth. I believe Gelish say you can use any brand top coat with their products but personally I would test this on myself before using on a client.

Yes I always test on my self 1st before on any client. I am waiting for a delivery of gelish so this will be my weekend task.
