Hey girls, this question has probably been asked lots of time and you're probably sick of it lol.. I'd search for it but I have no idea what to search for if you get me?..

Anyway, I had this lady come in today for a repair on her nail just the white the tip was still there. I sit her down at my desk and I start to repair it. I put the gel white on and then I ask her to put it under lamp. She asked me if I was going to put some powder on it?? I said no, what do you mean?

She said where she has them done (Greece) they put a thin layer of gel and then they spoon a powder on her nails and then they cure it and do it again a few more times. She said the powder burns a bit when they get it on her skin somtimes .. I'm sorry its long winded but I really dont get what she means.

Thanks in advance xxx

Some people layer up gel and powder to give the gel more strength. Why even wonder about it?? Personally I would buy a stronger more high end product in the first place.

I would have said ... well that is not my way ... I don't burn my clients or get product on my clients skin, so I hope you enjoy the treatment!!
