Gelicure - peeling after swimming

Hi,
I have a client who goes swimming infrequently but twice recently her gelicure has peeled off on a few fingers after she has been to the pool.

Both times she was due to come back in for her nails re-doing as the gelicure had been on for about 3 weeks.

Does anyone know if Gelicure is not recommended for swimming etc or do you think it may be because she was due to have them re-done anyway and they may have been worn?

I have one client who is a swimming instructor. She has no problems with Gelicure. She does have hers replaced every two weeks.
