Hi Geeks,

anyone know where i can buy good glitter stripers?

nubar are the best striper pens but using a striping brush dipped in clear polish gives you better definition and then just sprikle with glitter gives alot more shine at the end result

I have never thought of just clear polish and then the glitter... Tis the season for all that glitters... man this thread is one day to late as i had to do some glitter mork yesterday and my glitter stripper has gone hard....
Then i called the suppliers and they said "no problem be there with a new one"... when they arrived it was stripping tape... never used it.. don;t know how..

anyone that can give me a tip?
Mel

where can i buy nubar stripers? will also try the polish method! :)

I'm not a fan of pens as they have a tendency to clog. They're also not cost effective.
You wind up with 2 collections of polish, neither one very large.

Build up your polish collection instead, to include every colour in the rainbow and purchase good quality striper brushes & a couple of different sized dotters instead.
This offers you a wider variety of colours, and my experience is that the striper brushes are better to use and give you more control.
You can also use them with water based acrylic paints, which are very affordable as well and go a VERY long way.:green:

PS: good idea, the mixing of the glitter with clear polish. You can usually find in craft stores, tiny paint pallets. You can use one of those. I also use them for mixing colours, and for dabbing my dotter or striper on it when it's overloaded. Also, craft stores have TONNES of glitter in a myriad of colours. Many that you won't find in striper pens. AND if it's a good quality glitter, you can also add it to your L&P so thereby getting more bang for your buck.

I totally agree it makes so much more sense to do it this way

the best ones i have ever tried have been the ones sold by nsi, i think they might be called striperite.
