glitter tips help plz

Hi,i am having a nightmere with my glitter tips.I can`t get it right,i do my tip first (using gel) cure.Then move onto the nail plate.But the glitter bit allways seems thicker,& i get a ridge,i buff the tip.But i cant get a seamless nail.What am i doing wrong ?Help please so many clients ask for glitter tips.I use premixed glitter gels such as IBD & NSI.

Having done the tip and then the body of the nail and cured ... pick up a bead of clear gel and apply it right over the area where the tip and the body of the nail meet. Feather out in both directions cure and buff. There should be no visible seam.
