going dark??

Hi geeks!
I have a lady coming on tomorrow who has highlighted hair but looks kinda brassy now!
anyway she wants to go darker (she said darkish brown)
I told her maybe a semi to start with to see if she likes it before she goes permanant.
I was thinking of putting in 6/7 in color touch, i did another ladies hair with this but she didnt have as many highlights in and it came out lovely.
any suggestions??

Hi rosiegwill , yes a good suggestion would be to do some test pieces first
as the hairs porosity it may grab and go a lot darker especially toward the mid lengths and ends ,
so you may need to go a shade lighter depending on the test results
also although the semis /quasi colours are great for this , they can also remain permanently in the hair just like a tint would
