Going into Sales

I've been doing nails on and off for years, and been both in a salon and mobile. But due to mobility issues i've been off nails for a while now, although i still love them, i was thinking i would like to get more involved in the selling of the actual products like CND as i have a toatl passion for these products, but how would you ever make the leap from tech to sales team or promoter??
