Hi guys,
Just looking for some advice, I have long eyelashes but they are thin and I feel I don't have enough. Have been using max factor mascara for as long as I can remember but I think I need to either try a new mascara or perhaps get eyelash extensions.
Tbh I don't really know much about eyelashing, I had individual ones put on once but they totally bugged me where the glue was, (I could feel it!) so took them off after a day! I have seen some very good lashes on here they look like there are there own! but I have seen them on a few of my friends and they kinda looked a bit sku wif and like camels lashes if you know what I mean lol
Or perhaps a new mascara? but I don't want to spend a fortune trying to find one that works!
Wondered if some one could give me so advice? Thanks xx

Hi, I do eyelash extensions, and I've had them myself. I have to recommend YSL mascara in their gold tube, its fab and I got good coverage and length. Its £22 but it keeps me looking lashed when I don't have my extensions in!

have just uploaded a pic to see if anyone can advise me either to get lashes or just a good mascara lol have just taken a few more with with more mascara on but for some reason my pc can't find them from my phone :irked: lol xx

found them :) lol any advice would be appreciated, as I don't know anything about lashes, thanks xx

Lol thank god for that because I don't either !

However I did look at the photos and although you have beautiful long lashes they do look a bit sparse !

Hopefully someone with more experience will come along and offer good advice, but I would be personaly looking at either a better mascara (sorry chick it looks like you have spiders !!!)or some sort of infills , false eye lashes !

Hi

You have lovely long lashes - with gaps - I would try a thickening mascara first. Bear in mind that with lash extensions we can only apply where there are lashes to attach to. Since you have some sparseness in your lash line I would definitely try the mascaras first.

Can anyone recommend a reasonabily priced thickening mascara then ? YSL is a bit pricey for me using max factor false lash effect, but lashes do tend to go a bit spidery as I'm having to use so much. Needing new mascara now so any suggestions would be fab. Thanks xx

You have beautiful lashes, the gaps that you have are created by piling on the mascara so heavily, lol, probably in one go,
you need to put on a small amount and use a clean disposable mascara wand to fluff out your lashes and separate them,
then when your first coat has dried you can put on another coat and do the same again and wait for them dry,
you can still build it up so your mascara is heavy but if you do it in stages letting each coat dry in-between it wont clump so much, hth
(please don't take offence )

it sounds like your lash extensions were not not fitted correctly, as you should not have been able to feel any adhesive.

You can also buy serums which are meant to increase lash growth, making them thicker and longer but i havnt tried any out.

Ah see since I've statred using max factors false lash I have been applying it in 2 thick coats as it seemed to started clumping doing it in 3 or 4 which I used to do with my max factor masterpiece max or the 2000 calorie, weird eh! Totally no offence taken ure helping me not look awful ha ha  xx

hi, i use max factor false lash effect and find it very good, however i suffer from stress hair thinning so in stressful times my hair and my lashes and brows tend to thin out :( so when that happens i apply my max factor then put on some very fine, natural looking strip lashes and then apply a very light second coat of max factor and it does the trick... doesnt look too heavy and isnt too boggy looking...!
hope that helps

Leanne.:)

Thanks Leanne, I'm murder at putting on lashes but lol xx
