What separates a good stylist from a great stylist?

all the talent in the world wont help if you dont LISTEN

listening skills
creativity
lateral thinking
patience
consistency
practise and high skill levels
likeability
attention to detail

Hello yes people skills come into it more than you would think, as said above LISTENING to your clients, this along with a high level of skill and education I think make a great stylist. You also need to be able to take a picture out of a magazine and ether re create it or adapt it to the clients needs. I hope that one day I will become a great stylist lol xxxx

All of the above and most importantly, 8 weeks after the cut my hair still falls into place and looks good.
The rest of me generally looks like hell but I always have great hair:lol:
