Grey/silver ombre

Hi so my niece is wanting dark grey to light silver ombre.I tend to use wella products.her base is 5/6.she already has bleached white mid lengths and ends.I was going to use illumina 7/81 on the bleached ends.could I have advice on what to use on the roots and does 7/81 go a nice silvery colour

i would use 7/86 on the roots and and 9/86 on the ends

Illumina 5/81 on roots and 7/81+8/69 on M. L. E
Or ct 7/89+5/1 on roots and then 8/81+9/16.

Have you used 9/86 much? I've used it twice and it went very blue? Did you have this problem?
