Hair Salon at your home?

Hi All

Has anyone set up a small hair salon in their home or from an out-building.

If so, how have you found it and do you enjoy working from home?

Did you find it easy getting set up as far as the local council were concerned?

There are a few around me, the nearest has it in her front room which fronts on to a main road, she is quite busy. The other has completely converted the downstairs into a salon which is extremely busy. The other I know of does it in her kitchen but you have to walk through her house and to be honest the kitchen is really dirty, it's not nice but she has regular clients (all elderly or her friends) that love her!
