Most of my clients understand, but does anyone ever get the client who has paler skin that says, 'oh, but I wanna look dark'

I explain that a stronger DHA may turn orange if your skin can't take to it, and if you wanna look darker then get a re-spray the next day, and I just get the feeling that they don't understand!!

Sometimes I just think oh sod it, have a higher DHA and don't come moaning to me if it turns orange or doesn't go darker if your skin doesn't take to it!!!

I think it's better to look natural, don't you?

aggghhhhh, that felt better

i think people need to realise that their skin can only get to a certain darkness. I had a client who insisted on having la disco 18% because I had it on and she loved it. she is a bit of a red head and very pale so I told her it would probably go orange but shes the type of person who will try anything. So I did it and she said it was not orange but it just went slightly darkier than the 8% tantrick she normally has so it just goes to show that certain skin types simply cannot go darker no matter what you put on them. And with these types of skin i dont think the sun will even colour them xx

Yes exactly, that's my point. I think i'll just explain, and if they still want it then it's a case of trial and error. I think they think that I'm just trying to make money out of them by offering another tan the next day, but they're in my best interests

I have pale skin and too much tan makes me orange, I'm using xen tan for the simple fact I go really dark and do not turn oraange whey hey! lol I think some tan techs use different soloutions for different skin tones too hth xx

Its the sign of the times and sometimes its just..well erm

Went out in Aberdeen the other Friday night and there were about 4 hen parties going on .....there they were in their short skirts and high heels doing crazy things.....and all of them......bright orange

It seems that this look is one that shows"look ive had a spray tan so I can afford one so all is well in my life"

The tango look may look well under clubbing lights and indoors but out on the high street in daylight

these are also the type of clients who want loooooong white tips on their nails. and wear things with big brand name motifs to proclaim their prosperity.
